We’re Doing Things Differently (and Better!)

While other companies are trying to cram all your data into big, slow databases, we take a different approach. Our real-time system is lightning-fast and doesn’t need to copy all your stuff. It’s like the difference between moving your entire library to a new building versus just knowing where all the books are.

At SWIRL, we continue to blaze our own trail with a real-time architecture, contrasting with vector databases that have raised $500 million. Our tests revealed that loading millions of records into a new vector database might be impractical.

For instance, we are still trying to load the Enron dataset (500k records) into one of the popular vector databases, and it’s been running for almost 10 days now. This experience underscores our belief that copying large datasets is not practical.
